A tractor-trailer collided with a passenger van in Arizona yesterday which resulted in the tragic death of 7 people.  The van vehicle was heading east on Interstate 10 about 40 miles west of Phoenix while the truck was traveling west when it went across the highway and struck the van head on.

St. Louis Missouri Wrong Way Driver Hits Bus

Madison County Illinois Crash Kills Two

A car accident just outside of St. Jacob, Illinois this morning turned out to be fatal for two motorists.  For unknown reasons, a Lincoln Continental vehicle was traveling down Ellis Road near the 11000 block when the vehicle left the roadway(near Chestnut Road).  The single car accident resulted in both the driver and the passenger being killed.  Early investigative reports indicate that neither vehicle occupant was wearing a seatbelt.

New Detergent Packets are Dangerous to Kids

The American Association of Poison Control (AAPCC) has issued a warning to parents who have single dose packs of laundry detergent in their homes. Tide Pods and Purex UltraPacks have been rolled out recently. The goal is to attract consumers who have grown tired of carrying around the large containers and spilling the contents. Debris on the Roadway Can Cause Fatal Missouri Car Crashes

The Illinois Department of Transportation had an unusual mess to clean up Thursday morning. A truck transporting frozen cakes and pastries crashed with a semi tractor trailer on Interstate 74, about 4 ½ miles west of Goodfield, IL. The crash caused almost two dozen deserts and bratwursts to be strewn about the interstate. IDOT responded to the scene and power washed the roadway, due to slippery conditions.
