Car and Bus Accident on I-70 in Bridgeton Missouri

On August 25, 2012, in Bus Accident, by K. Lindsay Rakers

A Metro Bus collided with two cars on Interstate 70 in Bridgeton Missouri on Wednesday.  The bus accident occurred on east I-70 between Cypress and Lindbergh.  Thankfully, no serious injuries from this bus crash were reported.  However, the impact was enough to result in 9 people being transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Illinois car accident attorneys and Missouri car accident attorneys are all too familiar with the injuries that can result when a bus driver is not paying attention to the roadway.  With regard to this crash, the details of how the car and bus accident occurred have not yet been released.  The bus driver may have not done anything wrong here and we cannot jump to conclusions.  Driving a Metro bus is much like driving a tractor trailer – there are various regulations that come into play and the bus driver must be very careful because the bus is much heavier, larger and more dangerous than the typical passenger car.
