A man is in serious condition after a semi tractor trailer slid into his lane on Missouri 38, just west of Marshfield. His passenger was moderately injured in this MIssouri automobile accident. Both Fordland men were immediately taken to Cox South Hospital for their injuries. According to the highway patrol, the semi crossed the center line which led the driver to swerve to avoid the truck. An automobile crash on Route BB in Greene County, Missouri on October 9, 2010 resulted in the deaths of two women. A 17 year-old and her 39 year-old mother were killed when the drunk driver rounded a curve and struck their vehicle. An accident reconstruction was performed which revealed that three hours after the accident, the drunk driver’s blood alcohol level was .064 percent. The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office has reported that the three-vehicle accident that took place Thursday night in Tower resulted in an injury and a DWI arrest. One of the three drivers was headed South on County Road 77 when she made a left turn on Everett Bay Road. At that time, she was rear-ended by a gentleman from Cook. Two tractor trailers recently rolled over while headed west on I-44 near mile marker 61. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, both westbound lanes were blocked. There was also a separate, one-vehicle wreck two miles away at mile marker 63. While injuries have not yet been reported, it is likely that the drivers of these tractor trailers suffered an injury of some type.

An 8 year-old boy was killed in a Franklin County car accident on Monday, October 18th, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Two small children and an infant from Mount Vernon, Illinois were injured in a car accident on Highway 71 just south of Nevada, Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the children were taken to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment of their moderate injuries. The driver of the car apparently lost control of the vehicle while rounding a curve. The car overturned.
