Millions of baby cribs are unsafe

On November 24, 2009, in Personal Injury, by K. Lindsay Rakers

Consumer safety officials reported that dropside cribs made by Stork Craft are dangerous and should not be used. The cribs have defective hardware that causes the dropside of the crib to detach and create a space between the wall and mattress. This space can trap infants causing them to suffocate or otherwise be injured. There have been 110 reports of such incidents. This is the second recall for Stork Craft cribs this year alone. More than 5 million cribs, bassinets and play yards have been recalled since 2007.
